Charly Bliss, the self-proclaimed bubble grunge band, released a song last week that speaks out for violence against women. The song, "Turd," was written after lead singer Eva experienced a frightening cat call experience. Alongside the release, Eva cites her experience and why she felt that channeling her emotions musically was empowering. While the band manages to keep their fun and spunky approach, the darker undertones leak through Eva's vocals during the break. Though she whispers "in your dreams," there is an evident nightmarish quality in her delivery.
By purchasing "Turd," you will also be donating to planned parenthood.
